Grace Hill Farm Sales Agreement
Deposits for Reservations
A $50 non-refundable deposit per goat, which goes to the purchase price, is required to hold your reservation. Deposit must be received within 24 hours of your chosen animal or you forfeit your reservation. If we can not fill your reservation, you can transfer it to another breeding of your choice. If you do not want to place a deposit, you can be placed on our Wish List to be notified of available kids after Reservations are fulfilled.
Payment
Any reserved goat must be paid in full by the pick up date (usually between 8-12 weeks for a dam raised kid or 3-4 weeks for bottle raised kids). If unable to pay in full by pick update, any previous payments will be forfeited and non-refunded.
We will send an invoice that you can pay via Credit Card or you can send payments through PayPal. We also accept cash at pick up after the deposit has been received. We do not accept checks as a form of payment for any goats.
Cancellations
Grace Hill Farm reserves the right to cancel any reservation at any time and a full refund will be returned to the buyer. If a deposit has been placed on an animal, it may be applied to the purchase of another animal or refunded. If the buyer backs out of the sale, deposit will not be refunded. All breedings are subject to change until sire is confirmed and doe has been bred.
All sales are final.
Health Guarantee
All goats are guaranteed to be healthy upon leaving our farm. Buyer has the right to have any goat examined by a veterinarian at buyer’s expense prior to pickup. All animals are examined by the seller on the day of travel and buyer is encouraged to examine animal prior to taking possession. No goat leaves the farm showing signs of illness. Grace Hill Farm assumes no responsibility once the animal leaves the farm as we have no control over any stress the goat may experience due to travel, new environment, or new owner management practices, care, and handling.
Grace Hill Farm regularly tests for CAE, CL, and Johne’s and we’ve always had negative results – see Biosecurity Test Results. Our herd is regularly vaccinated for CD&T and Rabies.
If an animal is sold for ‘breeding purposes’ and is found to be sterile by a licensed veterinarian, a refund for the original purchase price will be issued upon receipt of veterinarian report stating that the animal is sterile due to genetic reason.
If travelling out of PA, please check with your state to see if any testing is required. Any required testing will be done prior to the goat leaving our farm but the buyer is responsible for the testing & veterinarian costs. All goats, regardless of sex will require a tattoo and certificate of identification/registration to leave PA.
Disbudding
It is our practice to disbud all kids within the first 1-3 weeks. Our goats are bred for showing and ADGA sanctioned shows currently do no permit horns. We do not sell Nigerian Dwarf goats with horns. Boer goats may be sold with horns.
Shipping
Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. We can recommend several shippers that we have personally used. Health papers are required to ship goats and buyer will be charged for all costs for the vet to complete the certificate.
