Due to the high demand for Nigerian Dwarf goats, we will not be able to fulfill all requests. If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please fill out the contact form with your information. At this time, we are accepting reservations for kids born in Spring 2022. ADGA Plus Performance herds, milk test, and LA herds get preference over other reservations. We can not guarantee kids until they are born.

Breeding Goat Prices

Breeding goats are priced base on the quality of the goat and genetics. We are a member of ADGA Plus which means we participate in LA, Milk Testing, and DNA evaluation. Some of our goats have amazing genetics, milking ability and conformation, thus reflected in the price. Superior Genetics (SG) indicates that a goat is in the top 15% of the breed and Elite are in the top 5% of the breed. Individual prices are listed on our Breeding Schedule.

Bourbon’s sire comes from outstanding genetics. His sire, Jedi is a finished champion and Jedi’s parents, both Valentino and Dumplin, have multiple finished champion progeny as well as being finished champions themselves. Dumplin was the 2011 National Reserve Grand Champion.

On Bourbon’s dam’s side, Mokie has 1 unrestricted leg toward her championship and has been putting out over 9% butterfat in lactations 3-5! She scored E’s in Dairy Strength, Body Capacity, and Mammary! Mokie’s owner is planning to have her back on milk test once she’s bred. With her previous production levels in prior lactations, Mokie should easily earn her star, making Bourbon a *B!

Bourbon is sweet and easy to handle and a very gentle buck. He has matured nicely, looking almost like his sire Jedi, other than color. His daughters are all long and level across the top-line and are displaying very nice mammary systems. There are clear improvements from their dams in structure. Unfortunately, LA was cancelled for us in 2020 & 2021, but we’re looking forward to having these girls scored. Both have nice wide rumps and kidded easily as first fresheners in 2021. Bourbon’s daughters will again be on milk test in 2022. For those that like moonspots, Bourbon throws them to his kids, carrying just a few himself. Check out Bourbon’s page for more information about him.

We love Bourbon and honestly have been dragging our feet to sell him just because he’s such a good buck. However, since he’s very related to multiple does we have on the farm, we are limited to who we can breed him to. He’s not being used like he should and we’d love to see him go to a performance herd where he’ll bring some great genetics to his new home.

We are located in Auburn, PA and are willing to work with a reputable shipper if you do not wish to transport yourself. We are willing to transport for a fee within a reasonable distance. Pickup is also available at our farm.

Bourbon is ready to go and up to date on all shots. We vaccinate for rabies and CDT. Our herd is CAE, CL, and Johne’s free. If travelling out of PA, Bourbon will require a health certificate which we will coordinate with our vet.
