Grace Hill Farm Sales Agreement

Deposits

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold/reserve a born kid or an adult. Deposit must be received within 24 hours of your chosen animal or you forfeit your place on the list.

Payment

Any reserved kid must be paid in full by the pick up date – 8-12 weeks as we dam raise all kids. If unable to pay in full by pick update, any previous payments will be forfeited and non-refunded. Final payment upon pick up must be made in cash.

Cancellations

Grace Hill Farm reserves the right to cancel any reservation at any time and a full refund will be returned to the buyer. If a deposit has been placed on an animal, it may be applied to the purchase of another animal or refunded. If the buyer backs out of the sale, deposit will not be refunded. All breedings are subject to change until sire is unconfirmed and doe has been bred.

All sales are final.

Health Guarantee

All kids are guaranteed to be healthy upon leaving our farm. Buyer has the right to have any kid examined by a veterinarian at buyer’s expense prior to pickup. All animals are examined by the seller on the day of travel and buyer is encouraged to examine animal prior to taking possession. No goat leaves the farm showing any signs of illness. Grace Hill Farm assumes no responsibility once the animal leaves the farm as we have no control over any stress the goat may experience due to travel, new environment, or new owner management practices, care, and handling.

Grace Hill Farm regularly tests for CAE, CL, and Johne’s and we’ve always had negative results. Our herd is regularly vaccinated for CDT and Rabies. Deworming is done on an as needed basis.

If an animal is sold for ‘breeding purposes’ and is found to be sterile by a licensed veterinarian, a refund for the original purchase price will be issued upon receipt of veterinarian report stating that the animal is sterile due to genetic reason.

Disbudding

It is our practice to disbud all kids within the first 1-2 weeks. Our goats are bred for showing and ADGA sanctioned shows currently do no permit horns.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements.
